At Hockenheim, Fernando Alonso won the German GP, his 3rd victory of the year. Jenson Button & Kimi Räikkönen were promoted to 2nd & 3rd after Sebastian Vettel was given a 20 sec penalty. This was for overtaking Button by going off track.
